As I sit down to write this, it's hard to believe that my year with the Class of 2026 Senior Rep Team has officially come to an end.

Last June, I met five incredible young women as we kicked off the Senior Rep Team with our first group session together in a creek. For many of them, it was the first time meeting one another, and none of us knew just how many memories we would create together over the next twelve months.

This creek session was the perfect way to start the year. After weeks of rain, the creek was higher than usual and the current was moving much faster than normal, but my team handled the unexpected challenge with great attitudes and plenty of laughter. It set the tone for a year filled with creativity, friendship, and so many beautiful moments.

After our creek session, the girls were invited to participate in some of my special summer projects. Aubrey joined me for a Taylor Swift-inspired session, representing the Reputation era in a dreamy lavender field. Arabella joined my summer mini sessions at Royal Oaks Farm, where we captured beautiful portraits surrounded by flowers and golden evening light.

Throughout the summer and fall, each member of the team had her own senior portrait experience. From July through October, I had the privilege of documenting this exciting season of life for each of them. Every session reflected their unique personalities, interests, and dreams for the future, and watching their confidence grow throughout the year was one of my favorite parts of the experience.

Next up for the team came two of my favorite sessions as they leaned into a more creative feel. With the winter season upon us, we pivoted from fields and sunsets for something completely different. In February, we met up for a record store shoot. Between stacks of vinyl records and vintage vibes, the girls fully embraced the creative concept and made the session so much fun.

A few months later, we brought the energy once again with our paint powder session. April's colorful shoot was filled with laughter, bright colors, and a whole lot of excitement. It was impossible not to smile while editing those images. They made my color-loving heart incredibly happy.

To wrap up our year together, we gathered one final time in late May and early June for cap and gown photos. Seeing the girls dressed in their graduation attire was a reminder of just how quickly the year had flown by. They started this journey as rising seniors and are now preparing to walk across the stage and begin an entirely new chapter.

Having a senior rep team is one of my favorite parts of being a senior picture photographer in Lancaster PA. The senior rep program is about building relationships, celebrating milestones, and creating experiences during one of the most exciting years of their lives. All of these session held throughout this past year were bonus free opportunities to add something special in addition to having a senior picture session.

To Aubrey, Arabella, Marissa, Morgan, and Skye: thank you for trusting me to be part of your senior year. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your kindness, your willingness to embrace every crazy idea I brought to the table and for making this year so memorable. It has been an honor to watch each of you grow and accomplish so much this year. I cannot wait to see where life takes you next and all the incredible things you will accomplish. I'll always be rooting for you.
