At the beginning of September, I had the pleasure of doing a double senior picture session for Elizabethtown Area High School Class of 2026 twins Abby and Izzy. Photographing twins means double the fun and this session was a perfect mix of personality, style, and school spirit. These Elizabethtown seniors wanted both individual photos and photos together while showcasing their love for cheerleading. Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown, PA, delivered the perfect setting for this double session.

Moonstone Manor is a gorgeous wedding venue that also rents out its property for portrait sessions. It offers multiple backdrops including the beautiful manor, steps, paved pathway, and a creek on the property. A side note though if you want to use this venue: photographers need to be a registered Pennsylvania business with business insurance to shoot here, so be sure to double-check your photographer has both of these taken care of before you book. We kicked off the evening with a stylish casual look: denim skirts paired with cute tops, which popped beautifully against the stone pathways and creek. Next came a laid-back vibe with t-shirts, jeans, and occasionally we threw on their Elizabethtown varsity jackets for a touch of school pride. To finish, Abby and Izzy changed into their cheer uniforms accompanied by their megaphones, pom poms, and an impressive collection of medals from cheer competitions. Each outfit change added a new layer of fun and personality, and it was fun to see all sides of the twins.

After the session, I asked Abby and Izzy to share if I did anything that helped ease any nerves or uncertainties during the senior picture process, if they felt comfortable during the session, and if they would recommend me to others looking for a senior picture photographer in the Elizabethtown PA area.
