One random day while scrolling though Instagram (we're all guilty of this), I stumbled across Léa's IG feed. Looking at her page, I was intrigued by her fresh perspectives on life in America as a French immigrant. Furthering the surprise, I discovered that she was currently living near Lancaster PA. We started connecting (thanks to the Instagram algorithm actually working for once) and decided to work together to plan a session for Léa celebrating 20,000 followers on Instagram. I was so excited to capture this milestone for Léa not only because hitting 20K is an amazing accomplishment, but because she has such a genuine and unique voice that deserves to be celebrated.

Léa is originally from France, but after moving to Canada for a little, she then relocated to the US. After over a year based in the Lancaster, PA area, she shares her unfiltered thoughts and observations on life in America as a French immigrant. Her Instagram page, @leanotfromparis, is full of wit, honesty, and fresh perspectives on what it’s really like to live in the U.S. as someone seeing it with brand new eyes. What I love most about Léa is how she brings humor and curiosity to her content. She talks about the culture shocks she’s experienced, what she genuinely loves about American life, and the things she never expected before making the move. She’s not afraid to call it like she sees it and that mix of openness and heart is what makes her so relatable.

To celebrate her milestone, we planned a branding session that reflects both her fun, playful side and her thoughtful, curious nature. Wildflower Lookout provided the perfect backdrop with it's gorgeous views of flowers and the sunset. We wanted to celebrate this big moment with balloons, laughter, and enjoying the beauty of Pennsylvania. I had so much fun getting to know more about Léa; she really is living her most authentic life. What you see on social media with her, is exactly how she is in real life: genuine, curious, and passionate. The week after our session she embarked on a Pennsylvania road trip, uncovering hidden gems across the state, including getting her daily fix of coffee. She also would love to one day do a one-month road trip through the South and Midwest. While she is currently back in France, I know she looks forward to coming back to the states.

This session was such a joy. Léa brought her own style and energy to every shot, and we focused on capturing her in a way that feels authentic to her story and platform.
