Sometimes senior picture sessions, just like life, do not go exactly as planned, and this session was a perfect example of how flexibility can still lead to something really special.

Abby is a Class of 2026 senior from Hershey High School, and her session was originally scheduled for the end of October. Due to some unexpected circumstances, we ended up doing a last minute reschedule to December 6th. While that could feel stressful, it actually opened the door to a completely different and cozy vision for her senior pictures.

With the session moved to December, we decided to lean fully into the season and decided on a festive, holiday inspired senior session. Downtown Lititz was the perfect choice, especially with its charming streets, glowing lights, and small town feel. As a Lancaster PA senior picture photographer, I love how walkable Lititz is; there are plenty of unique backdrops that you can find within just a few blocks.

We started the session by meeting at Tomato Pie Cafe. From there, we walked around downtown Lititz, using storefronts, brick walls, Lititz Springs Park, and twinkling lights to create a variety of looks even though Abby chose to wear one outfit. She wore a red sweater with jeans, which fit the holiday vibe perfectly and photographed beautifully against the warm lights.

Abby was an absolute trooper braving the December cold, and you would never know it from her photos. She brought such a calm, easygoing energy to the session.

Outside of her senior pictures, Abby stays busy with babysitting and has a strong interest in the medical field. She loves shopping, cute coffee shops, going to concerts, and is especially excited for when she turns 18 so she can head to Philly for even more concerts. As she wraps up her senior year, Abby is more than ready for graduation and is currently waiting to hear back from several colleges across Pennsylvania before deciding where she will be headed next.

This session was a great reminder that even when plans change, the outcome can still be meaningful and memorable. Ending my 2025 season with Abby’s Class of 2026 senior session felt like such a full circle moment and a cozy way to close out the year.
