Senior pictures are such a fun way to express your unique personality and style! As a senior picture photographer, I don't expect you to know how to pose during your session; rather, it's my job to guide and direct you into poses. Here are some of my favorite go-to poses that always look amazing:

1. Legs Crossed

This pose is effortlessly cool. Simply cross one leg over the other; easy right? It’s perfect for showing off your outfit while keeping things natural and comfortable. You can add to this pose with putting one or two hands on your hips, wrapping yourself up in a hug, or crossing one arm and holding your elbow.

2. Walking Action Shot

Walking shots are a must-have for senior sessions! They bring movement and life into your photos while making you feel less posed. We’ll pick a scenic spot like a quiet street, a park path, or a flower field for you to strut your stuff. You can look at me or off camera, either way it looks great.

3. The Hair Flip

The hair flip is all about adding drama and movement to your photos. Whether you’re flipping your hair over your shoulder, sweeping it with your hand, or letting the wind take over, this pose is perfect for showing off your confidence and having a little fun. I’ll make sure to time the shot to catch that perfect mid-flip moment!

4. Sitting Pretty

There’s something about sitting poses that brings out such a laid-back charm. You can sit on steps, rocks, or even in the grass (hello, dreamy golden hour lighting!). Add a knee tuck, lean back on your hands, or drape your arm over your knee to keep things casual.
