In early August, I received an inquiry for senior pictures that wanted to be scheduled as soon as possible. With my calendar nearly full, I offered two options: the following Monday or Tuesday evening, or we’d need to wait until early October. Thankfully, we were all able to make that Monday work. The mid-August golden hour turned out to be absolutely perfect for Keira’s senior pictures at Wildflower Lookout in Ronks, PA.
Keira is an Elizabethtown area high school Class of 2026 senior who is already preparing for an exciting future. After graduation next fall, she will be heading to Kutztown University to continue playing softball while studying in their pre-med program. It’s a path that perfectly blends her love of athletics with her career goals.
Softball has been a big part of Keira’s life for years, but she also enjoys hiking, visiting small restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and listening to Noah Kahan. She came into her session without a long list of specific poses but did have one request: photos of her looking over her shoulder. We made sure to capture plenty of those, and she absolutely nailed them.
For her outfits, Keira started her session in a casual look of shorts, a nice top, and cowboy boots, which set the perfect laid-back tone against the fields of Wildflower Lookout. As the sun began to dip lower, she changed into a white dress, giving us the chance to capture that dreamy sunset glow that makes this location such a gem for senior portraits. With rolling hills, colorful blooms, and an expansive sky, Wildflower Lookout provided the perfect backdrop for her mix of casual country charm and elegant style.
At the end of the evening, Keira surprised me with Reese’s Cups (my favorite!) as a thank-you, which was the sweetest gesture. It perfectly summed up her thoughtful and kind personality.
When I asked Keira if I had helped ease any nerves or uncertainties during the senior picture process and whether she felt comfortable during the session, she shared:
“Helping me pose and adjust things helped a lot so I know I didn’t look awkward. Yes, I felt so comfortable and had an amazing time!!”
I also asked if she would recommend KarisaAnn Photography to other seniors, and her response meant the world to me:
“I would definitely recommend KarisaAnn to other seniors, she made me so comfortable and made the session so fun it seemed like time flew by!! She was constantly making sure I was comfortable or if I needed anything and remembered little things I told her (like my good side haha). Definitely a 10/10 experience and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!”
Keira’s session was amazing and I loved capturing her senior photos!
