Sophia’s senior session was such a creative one to photograph! A Class of 2026 Donegal High School senior, Sophia is involved in both outdoor and indoor color guard as well as the National Art Honor Society. With a love of color guard and photography, it was no surprise that the session was filled with personal touches that showed off Sophia's artistic side.

Sophia requested a location near water, and the Susquehanna River provided the perfect backdrop. We started on the Wrightsville side and wrapped up at the River’s Crossing Center in Columbia, giving us both golden riverside scenery and stunning sunset light.

For the first look, Sophia wore a black dress that felt elegant against the calm water and beautiful bridge. Sophia brought along two cameras a vintage one and their Nikon to highlight their love of photography. (I always love when seniors include props that showcase their personality and passions) We used the cameras for photos at both locations, which tied everything together beautifully.

Sophia’s second outfit, a black tank top and pants, was perfect for the Color Guard photos. They brought their flag, and the way the fabric caught the light at sunset made for some absolutely magical images. As someone who was a majorette in high school, I loved watching the flag being thrown around and displayed. We finished the evening with Sophia stepping into the water, ending the session with a playful touch that perfectly matched their creative, easy going personality.
